The top ten in Fortune magazine's top 100 list include Mary Barra, General Motors Chairman and President, Jane Fraser, Citigroup CEO, third, Su Zifeng, CEO of Supermicro (4th), and Meng Wanzhou, Vice Chairman and Chief Financial Officer of Huawei (10th). Two of the top ten are from Asian countries.

Last year, when Chen Shushan was vice president of DBS Group, she ranked 89th on the list of 100 female business leaders selected by Fortune magazine. In August 2024, Chen Shushan was appointed as the vice president of DBS Group and replaced Piyush Gupta as the president of DBS Group in March this year.

Chen Shushan, president of DBS Group Holdings, was selected by Fortune magazine as one of the top ten most influential business women in the world in 2025, ranking sixth.

According to Fortune magazine, the selection criteria for the Top 100 list include company size and financial status, as well as executives' career trajectory, influence, innovation capabilities, and efforts to improve their business. Currently, more than 50 women lead Fortune 500 companies, but only 20 women are on the list this year, which fully demonstrates the growing competition for rankings.

Fortune magazine released the "2025 100 Most Powerful Women in Business List" (2025 100 Most Powerful Women in Business List). There are three women in Singapore on the list. Chen Shushan ranks the top among the three and is the only Singapore business woman to enter the top ten.
