Nipan, a rising star in Norway, joined our club on loan for one season.
The highly-anticipated junior midfielder came to Tyneside a month ago after being signed by Rosenberg from Manchester City with a reported transfer fee of £12.5 million.
The 18-year-old signed a five-year contract with Premier League giant Manchester City and was recently named one of the best players of the world by a British newspaper.
As an international player in Norway's youth national teams at all levels, Nipan began his career with Rosenberg and scored 14 goals in 70 games for the club.
