According to the Daily Mail, Benfica presidential candidate watched the Manchester City Derby on site, and he may bring Amorin back to Benfica.

In Manchester City's 3-0 defeat to Manchester United on Sunday, Benfica's next presidential candidate João Noronia Lopez, along with Vice Chairman Nuno Gomez (Amorin's close friend, who had played side by side in Benfica and the Portuguese national team), and General Manager Pedro Ferreira appeared at the Etihad Stadium to watch the game.

Lopez has never concealed his plan: if he can replace Rui Costa in next month's election, he will bring Amorin back to Benfica to coach. Lopez is currently in the lead in the polls.

Just 24 hours ago, Vice Chairman Gomez just told the Portuguese media that returning to Benfica is Amorin's destined destination. This is not only his youth training parent team, but also his hometown for nine years.

When asked whether his friendship with Amorin would open the door to return if Lopez wins the election, Gomez responded: "Amorin is now the Manchester United coach, and I can't answer this question, but one thing I am sure: one day, he will take over the coaching staff of Benfica. Lopez has proved in recent years that he has innovated Benfica's ability, and he will lead the club to a new height greater than in recent years."

The current Benfica coach Bruno Lager is basically impossible to stay after his contract expires at the end of the season. If Lopez beats Costa and former chairman Luis Filipe Vieira in the October 25 election, Lager may even leave early. Lopez also publicly expressed his ambition to sign Manchester City star B seat back to Benfica.
