Wilshere: England now have top manager and closer to goal of winning World Cup

England has qualified for the 2026 World Cup, and former England international Wilshere talked about England's hopes of winning the World Cup in an interview.

Wilshere first praised Tuchel, the England coach who took office this year, "I once said to my father: 'Tuchel is here, we trust Tuchel.' England defeated Serbia 2-0 at home in last week's World Cup European qualifiers, with Saka and Eze, two players who play for Arsenal, scoring one goal each. Wilshere came from Arsenal's youth training and played for Arsenal for a long time. Wilshere said with a smile: "I watched that game very carefully, enough for me to know that the Arsenal players won that game!"

Finally, Wilshere also praised the other two England internationals Rice and Elliott Anderson, "I like Rice, and everyone knows my relationship with Rice, but aside from this, I still I think he performed very well.
